Hello, I’m glad you’ve found my blog.
My name is Hannah Welby and I currently live in Taunton, having just finished a BSc in Architecture at Queen’s University. I am currently applying for Part One placements for the coming year, and am excited to see where in the world I might be in a few months.
I am a Christian, and have just started attending the Taunton Vineyard.
I spent my early years in Bradford, and like to claim some sort of Northern heritage; unfortunately we moved, and I know I’ve lost that claim! Although it did mean growing up in Devon with the sea and family close at hand – so not all bad.
I sometimes have grandiose musing about how social initiative, architecture and creative solutions can be used to change the world. I know that opens a vast array of responses and actions, and is also a big dream.
I want to get involved in work that response to people, and works for people. I have always felt I want to work as an advocate for those who feel helpless, or hopeless. So for now I’m happy exploring how I can combine my passions, beliefs and interests to send me in that direction.
